Agency Information Collection Activity; National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program (EDMAP and STATEMAP)
To comply with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), we are notifying the public that we have submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a new information collection request (ICR) for approval of the paperwork requirements for the National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program (NCGMP). The NCGMP has two components: educational (EDMAP) and State (STATEMAP). This notice provides the public an opportunity to comment on the paperwork burden of the application requirements discussed below.
National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program (NCGMP) Advisory Committee
Pursuant to Public Law 106-148, the NCGMP Advisory Committee will meet in Room 324 of Brooks Hall at West Virginia University, 98 Beechurst Ave, Morgantown, WV 26506. The Advisory Committee, comprising scientists from Federal agencies, State agencies, academic institutions, and private companies, shall advise the Director of the U.S. Geological Survey on planning and implementation of the geologic mapping program.
Agency Information Collection Activities: National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program (NGGDPP)
To comply with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), we are notifying the public that we have submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a new information collection request (ICR) for approval of the paperwork requirements for the National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program (NGGDPP). This notice provides the public an opportunity to comment on the paperwork burden of the project narrative and report requirements discussed below.
National Geospatial Advisory Committee; Meeting
The National Geospatial Advisory Committee (NGAC) will meet on May 12-13, 2009 at the George Washington University Cafritz Conference Center, 800 21st Street, NW., Washington, DC 20052. The meeting will be held in room 405.
Agency Information Collection Activity; Mineral Resources External Research Program (MRERP)
To comply with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), we are notifying the public that we have submitted to OMB a new information collection request (ICR) for approval of the paperwork requirements for the Mineral Resources Program's (MRP) Mineral Resources External Research Program (MRERP). To submit a proposal for the MRERP, a project narrative must be completed and submitted via https://Grants.gov. For multi-year projects, an annual progress report must be completed for all projects; a final technical report is required at the end of the project period. This notice provides the public an opportunity to comment on the paperwork burden of these project narrative and report requirements.
