The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. (EST) and will be open to the public, except for a period of approximately two hours when the Committee will adjourn and subcommittees will meet. The Committee meeting will be webcast on the Commission's Web site at https://www.sec.gov. We are adopting amendments to the expiration dates in our interim final temporary rules that provide exemptions under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and the Trust Indenture Act of 1939 for certain credit default swaps in order to facilitate the operation of one or more central counterparties for those credit default swaps. Under the amendments, the expiration dates of the interim final temporary rules will be extended to November 30, 2010.
