Proposed Extension of Existing Collection; Comment Request
The Department of Labor, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance request for comment to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This request helps to ensure that: requested data can be provided in the desired format; reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized; collection instruments are clearly understood; and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, OWCP is soliciting comments on the information collection for the Provider Enrollment Form (PE-1168).

The Department of Labor (DOL) is soliciting comments concerning a proposed extension for the authority to conduct the information collection request (ICR) titled, ``Roentgenographic Interpretation'' (Form CM-933), ``Roentgenographic Quality Rereading'' (Form CM-933a), ``Medical History and Examination for Coal Mine Workers' Pneumoconiosis'' (Form CM-988 and CM-988a), ``Report of Arterial Blood Gas Study'' (Form CM-1159), and ``Report of Ventilatory Study'' (Form CM-2907). This comment request is part of continuing Departmental efforts to reduce paperwork and respondent burden in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA).

The Secretary of Labor (Secretary) has approved the renewal of the charter of the Advisory Board on Toxic Substances and Worker Health (Board). The renewed charter will expire two years from its filing date or until the Board terminates, whichever occurs first.
