WTO Dispute Settlement Proceeding Regarding United States; Certain Tax Credits Under the Inflation Reduction Act (China)
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is providing notice that China has requested the establishment of a dispute settlement panel under the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization (WTO Agreement). USTR invites written comments from the public concerning the issues raised in this dispute.
2024 Review of Notorious Markets for Counterfeiting and Piracy: Comment Request
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) requests comments that identify online and physical markets to be considered for inclusion in the 2024 Review of Notorious Markets for Counterfeiting and Piracy (Notorious Markets List). The Notorious Markets List identifies examples of online and physical markets that reportedly engage in or facilitate substantial copyright piracy or trademark counterfeiting. The issue focus for the 2024 Notorious Markets List will examine online pharmacies and counterfeit medicine.
Agency Information Collection Activities; Request for the Office of Management and Budget To Approve Renewal of the Collection of Information Titled `301 Exclusion Requests'

Notice of Conforming Amendments to Reinstated Exclusions: China's Acts, Policies and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation
Effective July 1, 2024, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) implemented certain changes to statistical reporting categories in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). As a result of these changes, USTR is making conforming amendments to two extended exclusions associated with the Section 301 investigation of China Acts, Policies and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation.
Request for Comments and Public Hearing About the Administration's Action Following a Determination of Import Injury With Regard to Fine Denier Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF)
On July 9, 2024, the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) determined that fine denier polyester staple fiber (PSF) is being imported into the United States in such increased quantities as to be a substantial cause of serious injury, or the threat thereof, to the domestic industry producing an article that is like or directly competitive with the imported article. The Commissioners who voted in the affirmative are now conducting a process to recommend a safeguard measure for the President. The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), on behalf of the Trade Policy Staff Committee (TPSC), is announcing a process so that, once the USITC makes its recommendation and issues its report to the President, domestic producers, importers, exporters, and other interested parties subsequently may submit their views and evidence on the appropriateness of the recommended safeguard measure and whether it would be in the public interest. USTR also invites interested parties to participate in a public hearing regarding this matter.
