Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby given that the National Council on the Humanities will meet to advise the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) with respect to policies, programs and procedures for carrying out his functions; to review applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities Act of 1965 and make recommendations thereon to the Chairman; and to consider gifts offered to NEH and make recommendations thereon to the Chairman.

This document rescinds the National Endowment for the Humanities' rule governing the issuance of guidance documents.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will hold thirty meetings, by videoconference, of the Humanities Panel, a federal advisory committee, during April 2021. The purpose of the meetings is for panel review, discussion, evaluation, and recommendation of applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will hold twenty meetings, by videoconference, of the Humanities Panel, a federal advisory committee, during March 2021. The purpose of the meetings is for panel review, discussion, evaluation, and recommendation of applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is giving notice of the adjusted maximum and minimum civil monetary penalties that it may impose for violations of its New Restrictions on Lobbying, as required by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015 (the 2015 Act). This document contains the final National Endowment for the Humanities (``NEH'') procedures for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (``NEPA''), as amended. This action is necessary to implement these procedures and make them available to the public on NEH's internet site.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (``NEH'') is proposing to issue regulations to implement the Privacy Act of 1974 (the ``Privacy Act''). These regulations would establish procedures by which an individual may determine whether a system of records maintained by NEH contains a record pertaining to him or her; gain access to such records; and request correction or amendment of such records. These regulations also would establish exemptions from certain Privacy Act requirements for all or part of certain systems of records maintained by NEH.
