Public Unit and Nonmember Shares
The NCUA Board (Board) is proposing to amend the NCUA's public unit and nonmember share rule to allow Federal credit unions (FCU) to receive public unit and nonmember shares up to 50 percent of the credit union's paid-in and unimpaired capital and surplus less any public unit and nonmember shares.

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) will submit the following information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, on or after the date of publication of this notice.
