Citric Acid and Certain Citrate Salts From Thailand: Final Negative Countervailing Duty Determination, and Final Negative Critical Circumstances Determination
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) determines that countervailable subsidies are not being provided to producers and exporters of citric acid and certain citrate salts (citric acid) from Thailand. The period of investigation is January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2016. In addition, we determine that critical circumstances do not exist with respect to imports of the subject merchandise.

As a result of the determinations by the Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the International Trade Commission (ITC) that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) order on silicon metal from the People's Republic of China (China) would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to an industry in the United States, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of the AD duty order.

Revisions and Clarifications to User Fees for Export and Investment Promotion Services/Events
The International Trade Administration (ITA) recently implemented new user fees for its export and investment promotion services/events in light of an independent cost study, which concluded that ITA was not fully covering its costs for providing services under the prior fee structure. Federal agencies are directed by Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-25 to ensure they recoup their costs when providing certain services. ITA is announcing revisions to its export and investment promotion User Fee Schedule, published on July 10, 2017.
