Pursuant to 25 CFR 83.10(l)(2), notice is hereby given that the Department of the Interior (Department) has determined the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana, P.O. Box 1384, Great Falls, Montana 59403, is not entitled to be acknowledged as an Indian Tribe within the meaning of Federal law. This notice is based on a determination the petitioner does not satisfy all seven mandatory criteria set forth in 25 CFR 83.7, and thus does not meet the requirements for a government-to-government relationship with the United States.
