The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to correct the inadvertent omission of appropriate references in the FAR pertaining to termination for cause of those purchase orders that have been accepted in writing. The Government is soliciting comments from interested parties to ensure the language in this proposed rule is clear in stating the appropriate termination coverage for commercial purchase orders that have been accepted in writing by the contractor.

FPDS-NG fulfills GSA's mission to provide a comprehensive mechanism for assembling, organizing, and presenting contract procurement data for the Federal Government. The system collects, processes, and disseminates official statistical data on Federal contracting. The data is used to generate reports for the three branches of government, federal agencies and the general public.

The General Services Administration proposes to amend the Federal Management Regulation (FMR) to discontinue use of the hard copy, paper construction of Standard Form (SF) 1113, Public Voucher for Transportation Charges, and its memorandum copy, SF 1113-A. Agencies are required to use electronic commerce for receiving bills and paying for transportation and transportation services. By using electronic commerce, the SF 1113 is not needed and is not essential for the transportation service provider to get paid. The FMR and any corresponding documents may be accessed at GSA's website at https:// www.gsa.gov/fmr.

Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the General Services Administration will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve a renewal of a currently approved information collection requirement regarding the Art-in-Architecture Program National Artist Registry form. The clearance currently expires on July 31, 2006. The Art-in-Architecture Program is the result of a policy decision made in January 1963 by GSA Administrator Bernard L. Boudin who had served on the Ad Hoc Committee on Federal Office Space in 1961-1962. The program has been modified over the years, most recently in 1996 when a renewed focus on commissioning works of art that are an integral part of the building's architecture and adjacent landscape was instituted. The program continues to commission works of art from living American artists. One-half of one percent of the estimated construction cost of new or substantially renovated Federal buildings and U.S. courthouses is allocated for commissioning works of art.
