Abstract: The purpose of the proposed survey is to measure FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) program performances and achievements against customer service standards of Executive Order 12862 of September 11, 1993, as well as Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA) objectivities. Survey results are used to gauge satisfaction levels of PA customers, and make improvements to disaster services that focus on customer satisfaction and program effectiveness. If the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) receives documentation that the community has adopted the required floodplain management measures prior to the effective suspension date given in this rule, the suspension will not occur and a notice of this will be provided by publication in the Federal Register on a subsequent date.
