In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice seeks comments concerning the National Flood Insurance ProgramMortgage Portfolio Protection Program (MPPP) that is a mechanism used by lending institutions mortgage servicing companies, and others servicing mortgage loan portfolios to bring the mortgage loan portfolios into compliance with the flood insurance purchase requirements of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, as amended.
