Airworthiness Directives; Bell Textron Canada Limited Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Bell Textron Canada Limited (Bell) Model 429 helicopters. This AD requires inspecting certain serial-numbered Emergency Flotation System (EFS) inflation hoses and depending on the results of those inspections, marking certain parts or removing certain parts from service. This AD was prompted by a report that a float compartment on an EFS did not inflate. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Bell Textron Canada Limited Helicopters
The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2013-20-13 for certain Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Limited (now Bell Textron Canada Limited) (Bell) Model 206B and 206L helicopters. AD 2013-20-13 required installing a placard beneath the engine power dual tachometer and revising the Operating Limitations section of the existing Rotorcraft Flight Manual (RFM) for your helicopter. This AD was prompted by the engine manufacturer expanding the RPM (N2) steady-state operation avoidance range limits. This AD retains certain requirements of AD 2013-20-13, and requires revising certain sections of the existing RFM for your helicopter and installing or replacing a placard. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Leonardo S.p.a. Helicopters
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AW189 helicopters. This proposed AD was prompted by fatigue testing and analyses. This proposed AD would require establishing a life limit for a certain part-numbered tail gearbox fitting. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Bell Textron Inc. (Type Certificate Previously Held by Bell Helicopter Textron Inc.) Helicopters
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bell Textron Inc. (type certificate previously held by Bell Helicopter Textron Inc.) (Bell) Model 205B helicopters. This proposed AD was prompted by a notification of certain parts needing a life limit. This proposed AD would require determining the total hours time- in-service (TIS) of certain part numbered main rotor grip assemblies (grip assemblies), establishing a life limit for certain part-numbered grip assemblies, removing from service any grip assembly that has reached or exceeded its retirement life, creating a component history card, and removing any grip assembly from service before reaching its retirement life. This proposed AD would also prohibit installing certain grip assemblies unless the life limit was established in accordance with this proposed AD. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters Model EC 155B, EC155B1, SA-365N, SA-365N1, AS-365N2, and AS 365 N3 helicopters, as identified in a European Aviation Safety Agency (now European Union Aviation Safety Agency) (EASA) AD. This AD was prompted by a report of an in-flight loss of engine and main gearbox (MGB) cowlings. This AD requires inspecting the MGB fixed cowling front fitting (MGB front fitting), and depending on findings, corrective action. This AD also requires a new modification, which is a terminating action for the inspection, as specified in an EASA AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Pilot Records Database
The FAA adopts final regulations for the use of an electronic Pilot Records Database (PRD) and implements statutory requirements to facilitate the sharing of pilot records among air carriers and other operators in an electronic data system managed by the FAA. This final rule requires air carriers, specific operators holding out to the public, entities conducting public aircraft operations, air tour operators, fractional ownerships, and corporate flight departments to enter relevant data on individuals employed as pilots into the PRD. In addition, this rule identifies the air carriers and operators required to access the PRD to evaluate the available data for each pilot candidate prior to making a hiring decision.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Requests for Comments; Clearance of a Renewed Approval of Information Collection: Part 121 Operating Requirements: Domestic, Flag, and Supplemental Operations
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The collection involves regulations that prescribe the requirements governing air carrier operations. The information collected is necessary to determine air operators' compliance with the minimum safety standards and the applicants' eligibility for air operations certification.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Requests for Comments; Clearance of Renewed Approval of Information Collection: Voluntarily Implement a Safety Management System (SMS)
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The information collection is for entities who voluntarily follow the guidance in FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 120-119, Voluntary Safety Management System for Other Regulated Entities Transporting Dangerous Goods by Air, on how to use the SMS principles included in part 5, as a basis to develop and implement a voluntary SMS program and how to submit such a voluntary program to the FAA's Office of Hazardous Materials Safety (AXH) for acceptance. Information received from the first collection will be used to determine compliance with FAA SMS regulations. With the exception of a one-time submission of an implementation plan, the data will not be submitted to the FAA. The records for Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, and Safety Assurance processes, training, and communications are kept under Safety Promotion and will be kept by the organization and used in its SMS.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters
The FAA proposes to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2021-04-15, which applies to all Airbus Helicopters Model AS355E, AS355F, AS355F1, AS355F2, AS355N, and AS355NP helicopters; and certain Model AS350B3 helicopters. AD 2021-04-15 requires repetitive visual inspections of the right-hand side of the vertical fin spar for discrepancies (cracking), and corrective action if necessary. Since the FAA issued AD 2021-04-15, the FAA has determined that additional actions are required to address the unsafe condition. This proposed AD would retain the requirements of AD 2021-04-15, and would require repetitive cleaning and repetitive detailed inspections for cracking of the vertical fin spar and vertical fin upper attachments, and corrective action if necessary, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is proposed for incorporation by reference (IBR). This proposed AD would also expand the applicability to include additional Model AS350B3 helicopters. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; International Aero Engines AG Turbofan Engines
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain International Aero Engines AG (IAE) V2500 model turbofan engines. This AD was prompted by an analysis performed by the manufacturer after an event involving an uncontained failure of a high- pressure turbine (HPT) 1st-stage disk that resulted in high-energy debris penetrating the engine cowling. This AD requires the performance of an ultrasonic inspection (USI) of the HPT 1st-stage disk and HPT 2nd-stage disk and, depending on the results of the inspections, replacement of the HPT 1st-stage disk or HPT 2nd-stage disk. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; MHI RJ Aviation ULC (Type Certificate Previously Held by Bombardier, Inc.) Airplanes
The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2019-22- 07, which applied to all MHI RJ Aviation ULC Model CL-600-2B19 (Regional Jet Series 100 & 440) airplanes, Model CL-600-2C10 (Regional Jet Series 700, 701 & 702) airplanes, Model CL-600-2D15 (Regional Jet Series 705) airplanes, Model CL-600-2D24 (Regional Jet Series 900) airplanes, and Model CL-600-2E25 (Regional Jet Series 1000) airplanes. AD 2019-22-07 required revising the existing airplane flight manual (AFM) to include a limitation and an abnormal operating procedure for the Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS). This AD requires revising the existing AFM and adding airplanes to the applicability. This AD was prompted by a finding that the limitation and abnormal operating procedure did not include reference to a certain mode. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Proposed Amendment of Class E Airspace; New Madrid, MO
This action proposes to amend Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface at County Memorial Airport, New Madrid, MO. The FAA is proposing this action as a result of an airspace review caused by the decommissioning of the Malden Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range collocated with Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) navigation aid as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program. Controlled airspace is necessary for the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations in the area.
Notice of Intent To Rule on a Land Release Request at Saratoga County Airport (5B2), Ballston Spa, NY
The FAA proposes to rule and invites public comment on the application for a release of approximately 1.79 acres of federally obligated airport property at Saratoga County Airport, Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, NY, from conditions, reservations, and restrictions contained in Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants that would restrict the use of said land to aeronautical purposes. This acreage is composed of a portion of a parcel that was acquired by Saratoga County though AIP Grant 3-36-0004-05-1987. It is requested that FAA approval be given to release the 1.79 acres for disposal to allow a currently existing non-aeronautical use on the parcel to continue. The land is not needed for aeronautical purposes and the Federal share of the proceeds from the sale of land would be dedicated to a future AIP eligible airport effort.
Airworthiness Directives; Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Airplanes
The FAA is withdrawing a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that proposed to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (Gulfstream) Model GVII-G600 airplanes. The NPRM was prompted by a report that a failure mode in the data concentration network (DCN) software causes the pitch attitude value to freeze on the primary flight display (PFD) for up to 20 seconds. The NPRM proposed to require updating the DCN and flight deck master operating system (MOS) software. Since issuance of the NPRM, the FAA has determined that there is not an unsafe condition because all affected airplanes have updated software. Accordingly, the NPRM is withdrawn.
Airworthiness Directives; Leonardo S.p.a.
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Leonardo S.p.a. Model AB139 and AW139 helicopters with 3-stretcher kit part number 139084-501 installed. This AD was prompted by a report of a design deficiency which affects the primary stretcher unit of the 3- stretcher kit. This AD requires installing a placard on the primary stretcher. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Requests for Comments; Clearance of a New Approval of Information Collection: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Support Center Case Management System (CMS)
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for a new information collection. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Support Center Case Management System (CMS) is being created to help streamline how stakeholders' questions are answered in a timely manner. Specifically, the Contact Customer Support form allows the public and other stakeholders to ask the FAA questions, as well as get the appropriate answer or information they need to operate their UAS or drone safely. The UAS Support Center has a publicly available form to submit inquiries. This form would be replacing the current web form to be used within the Salesforce solutions that allows UAS Integration Office additional technology to more efficient and streamline the UAS Support center business process. This form would allow the UAS Integration Office to collect the appropriate information about the stakeholder's name, preferred method of communications email address, phone number, zip code, type of flyer that would allow the Support Center Analysts to more efficiently answer the customer's specific question.
Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all The Boeing Company Model 747-100, -100B, -100B SUD, -200B, - 200C, -200F, -300, -400, -400D, -400F, 747SR, and 747SP airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of cracks found in the front spar shear tie and at the intercostal lug fitting at certain locations. This proposed AD would require repetitive detailed and surface high frequency eddy current (HFEC) inspections of the front spar shear tie and intercostal lug fitting at certain locations for any cracking, and applicable on-condition actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Airplanes
The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2014-25-04 for all Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Model PC-6, PC-6-H1, PC-6-H2, PC-6/350, PC-6/350-H1, PC-6/350-H2, PC-6/A, PC-6/A-H1, PC-6/A-H2, PC-6/ B-H2, PC-6/B1-H2, PC-6/B2-H2, PC-6/B2-H4, PC-6/C-H2, and PC-6/C1-H2 airplanes. AD 2014-25-04 required incorporating revised airworthiness limitations into the aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) for your FAA- approved maintenance program. This AD requires incorporating new airworthiness limitations and an eddy current inspection of each fuselage wing fitting if an earlier version of the service information was accomplished. This AD was prompted by a determination that the new life limits, revised airworthiness limitations, and new inspection procedures are necessary. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH Model MBB-BK 117 A-1, MBB-BK 117 A- 3, MBB-BK 117 A-4, MBB-BK 117 B-1, MBB-BK 117 B-2, and MBB-BK 117 C-1 helicopters. This AD was prompted by an analysis of the main rotor (M/ R) blade loop area. This AD requires repetitive inspections of certain M/R blade thimble areas and corrective actions if necessary, as specified in a European Aviation Safety Agency (now European Union Aviation Safety Agency) (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference (IBR). Airworthiness Directives; Leonardo S.p.a. Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AW169 helicopters. This AD was prompted by reports of failed nose landing gear (NLG) retraction actuators during the acceptance test procedures on the ground on the final assembly line. This AD requires depending on the helicopter configuration, various modifications, installation checks, inspections of the NLG and main landing gear (MLG) retraction actuators and of the plungers of the NLG and MLG up down lock actuators, and corrective actions if necessary. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) Helicopters
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters. This proposed AD was prompted by the discovery that certain parts that are approved for installation on multiple helicopter models are life limited parts when installed on Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters and some helicopter delivery documents excluded the life limit information. This proposed AD would require determining the total hours time-in-service (TIS) of a certain part-numbered rotor mast nut and re-identifying a certain part-numbered rotor mast nut. This proposed AD would also require establishing a life limit for a certain part-numbered rotor mast nut and helical gear support, and removing each part from service before reaching its life limit. Additionally, this proposed AD would require replacing a certain part-numbered main gearbox (MGB) with a not affected MGB as specified in a European Aviation Safety Agency (now European Union Aviation Safety Agency) (EASA) AD, which is proposed for incorporation by reference (IBR). The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

This action modifies the Class D airspace at Meadows Field Airport, Bakersfield, CA. This action also modifies the Class E airspace designated as a surface area and the Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface. Further, this action removes the Class E airspace extending upward from 1,200 feet above the surface. Additionally, this action updates the term ``Airport/Facility Directory'' to ``Chart Supplement'' in the last sentence of the Class D and Class E2 airspace descriptions. Finally, this action implements several administrative corrections to the Class D, Class E2, and Class E5 text headers.

Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A319-171N airplanes, Model A320-271N, -272N, and -273N airplanes, and Model A321-271N, -272N, -271NX, and -272NX airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report indicating that during a full scale fatigue test of the forward engine mounts, premature wear was identified on the forward engine mount shackle assemblies; in addition, during bearing replacement, the bearing lock washer was found broken. This AD requires replacing any forward engine mount shackle assemblies having a certain part number with a serviceable part, and re- identifying the engine mount, or replacing any forward engine mount assemblies having a certain part number, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200 Freighter series airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report indicating occurrences of broken brackets of the support structure of the halon fire extinguishing bottle 4005WX; investigation showed that fatigue cracks initiated in the attachment brackets at the cross beams due to dynamic loading, and in some cases propagated in the struts. This AD requires replacing the support brackets of the 4005WX fire extinguisher bottle with reinforced support brackets, and replacing the strut assembly at the affected location, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (Type Certificate Previously Held by Bombardier, Inc.) Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Model DHC-8-400, -401, and -402 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of main landing gear (MLG) retractions after striking an obstacle or severe wheel imbalance after a tire failure. This AD requires inspections for correct height of the lock link over-center stop pin and for correct gaps of the left-hand and right-hand MLG downlock proximity sensors, replacement of the shim if necessary, corrective actions, and installation of a new, improved proximity sensor electronic unit (PSEU) with software changes. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Proposed Amendment of Class D and Class E Airspace, and Removal of Class E Airspace; Kodiak, AK
This action proposes to modify the Class D airspace at Kodiak Airport, Kodiak, AK. This action also proposes to remove the Class E airspace, designated as an extension to a Class D or Class E surface area, east of the airport. Further, this action proposes to modify the Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface by increasing the size of the area. Finally, this action proposes to update the geographic coordinates in the third line of the Class D text header and update the term ``Airport/Facility Directory'' to ``Chart Supplement'' in the last sentence of the Class D airspace description. This action would ensure the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at the airport.
Proposed Establishment of Class C Airspace at Harrisburg International Airport, PA; Public Meeting
This document announces a fact-finding informal airspace meeting regarding a plan to establish Class C Airspace at Harrisburg International Airport, PA. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit aeronautical comments on the proposal's effects on local aviation operations. Amendment of V-25, V-27, V-494, V-108, V-301, and T-257 in the Vicinity of Santa Rosa, CA
This action amends VHF Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal airways V-25, V-27, V-494, V-108, V-301, and United States Area Navigation route (RNAV) T-257 in the vicinity of Santa Rosa, CA. The amendments are due to the planned decommissioning of the Santa Rosa, CA VOR/Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) navigation aid (NAVAID) which provides navigation guidance for portions of the affected airways. The Santa Rosa VOR/DME is being decommissioned as part of the FAA's VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) program.
Amendment of Restricted Area R-6413; Green River, UT

The FAA is taking this administrative action in response to the requested change from the United States Air Force to the United States Army as the using agency. Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B, AS350BA, AS350B1, AS350B2, AS350B3, AS350D; and Model AS355E, AS355F, AS355F1, AS355F2, AS355N, AS355NP helicopters. This proposed AD was prompted by reports that the lanyards (bead chain tethers), which hold the quick release pins to the forward bracket assembly of certain litter kits, can loop around the directional control pedal stubs, limiting the movement of the pedals. This proposed AD would require modification of the lanyard attachment location for certain litter kit installations. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

This rule establishes, amends, suspends, or removes Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPS) and associated Takeoff Minimums and Obstacle Departure procedures (ODPs) for operations at certain airports. These regulatory actions are needed because of the adoption of new or revised criteria, or because of changes occurring in the National Airspace System, such as the commissioning of new navigational facilities, adding new obstacles, or changing air traffic requirements. These changes are designed to provide safe and efficient use of the navigable airspace and to promote safe flight operations under instrument flight rules at the affected airports.

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Pratt & Whitney (PW) PW1500G and PW1900G series turbofan engines. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of cracks in the high-pressure compressor (HPC) rotor shaft that resulted in in-flight shutdowns (IFSDs) and unscheduled engine removals (UERs). This proposed AD would require removal and replacement of the HPC front hub and HPC rotor shaft. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH
The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2019-07-07 for various Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (Airbus Helicopters) Model MBB-BK117 and Model BO-105 helicopters. AD 2019-07-07 required removing certain part numbered swashplate bellows (bellows) from service, cleaning and inspecting certain parts, and depending on the inspection results removing certain parts from service, applying torque, and repetitively inspecting the swashplate assembly (swashplate). This AD retains certain requirements of AD 2019-07-07, expands the installation prohibition, adds additional inspections, and updates the applicable service information. The FAA is issuing this AD to address an unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Mooney International Corporation Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Mooney International Corporation (Mooney) Model M20V airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of short circuit and arcing of the alternator main power cable in the engine compartment. This condition, if unaddressed, could result in a fire hazard, loss of engine thrust control, and reduced control of the airplane. This AD requires inspecting the alternator main power cable and the exhaust crossover tube for damage, replacing damaged parts as necessary, and installing an additional alternator cable clamp. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Amendment VOR Federal Airway V-487; Eastern New York and Northern Vermont
This action amends VOR Federal airway V-487 in the vicinity of Glens Falls, NY, and Burlington, VT. The change substitutes a radial from the Burlington, VT, VOR/DME (BTV), in place of a radial from the Glens Falls, NY, VOR/DME (GFL) that is used to define a navigation fix along the route. Additionally, this action removes segments of V-487 between Burlington, VT, and St Jean, Canada. These changes are necessary due to the decommissioning of the Glens Falls, NY, VOR/DME, and the decommissioning of the St Jean, Canada, VOR/DME (YJN).
Amendment of Area Navigation (RNAV) Route T-207; in the Vicinity of Cecil, FL
This action amends low altitude RNAV route T-207 in Florida by removing the Cecil, FL (VQQ), VOR from the route description due to the planned decommissioning of that VOR. The removal does not affect navigation along the route.

Notice of Intent To Release Certain Properties From All Terms, Conditions, Reservations and Restrictions of a Quitclaim Deed Agreement Between City of Tallahassee and the Federal Aviation Administration for the Tallahassee International Airport, Tallahassee, FL
The FAA hereby provides notice of intent to release certain airport properties 44.66 acres at the Tallahassee International Airport, Tallahassee, FL from the conditions, reservations, and restrictions as contained in a Quitclaim Deed agreement between the FAA and the City of Tallahassee, dated March 14, 1990. The release of property will allow the City of Tallahassee to dispose of the property for non-aeronautical purposes. The City of Tallahassee requests the release of a 44.66 acre tract located along Capital Circle SW in Tallahassee, Florida to facilitate the widening of State Road 263 for municipal development. This capital improvement project is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation. The parcel is currently designated as aeronautical property. The property will be released of its federal obligations given the land is no longer required by The City of Tallahassee. The Fair Market Value (FMV) of this parcel has been determined to be $2,020,050.00. Documents reflecting the Sponsor's request are available, by appointment only, for inspection at the Tallahassee International Airport and the FAA Airports District Office.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A319-111, -112, -113, -114, -115, -131, -132, and -133 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a determination that the cabin swift broadband antenna doubler installation does not meet widespread fatigue damage (WFD) requirements. This AD requires a one- time special detailed inspection of certain fastener holes, replacement of the cabin swift broadband antenna doubler, and repair if necessary, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc., Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report indicating that during installation, a fuel pipe bracket assembly on the intermediate rib in the center fuel tank was mislocated, resulting in an offset between the fitting assembly and the refuel/defuel tube assembly. This AD requires modification of the fuel pipe bracket assembly, including all related investigative actions and corrective actions, if necessary; and performing an operational test of the refuel and defuel system. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc., Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-100-1A10 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of DC motor pump (DCMP) failures during production flight tests. This AD requires installing a redesigned DCMP electric motor assembly. Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters Model EC130B4 and EC130T2 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of cracks and geometrical non-conformities of the tail rotor blades (TRBs); all cracks initiated in the drain hole area at the blade root section. This AD requires cleaning affected parts, visual and dye penetrant inspections for cracks of affected parts, a dimensional inspection to verify conformity of affected parts, and corrective actions if necessary, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH (AHD) Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of a broken Titanium (Ti) bolt. This AD requires removing certain Ti-bolts from service and prohibits installing these Ti-bolts in a critical area. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
