This action amends the Class E surface area airspace and the Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface at Ely Municipal Airport, Ely, MN. This action is the result of an airspace review caused by the decommissioning of the Ely VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) navigation aid, which provided navigation information for the instrument procedures at this airport, as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program. The name and geographic coordinates of the airport is also being updated to coincide with the FAA's aeronautical database. Airspace redesign is necessary for the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at this airport.

This action amends three VHF Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal airways, V-7, V-52, and V-178, in the vicinity of Central City, KY. The modifications are necessary due to the planned decommissioning of the VOR portion of the Central City, KY, VOR/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) navigation aid (NAVAID), which provides navigation guidance for portions of the affected airways. The Central City VOR is being decommissioned as part of the FAA's VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) program.
