Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records
As required by the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. 552a(e), notice is hereby given that the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is amending the system of records currently entitled ``Voluntary Service RecordsVA'' (57VA135) as set forth in the Federal Register 74 FR 17555. VA is amending the system of records by revising the System Number, System Location, Purpose, Categories of Records in the System, Records Source Categories, Routine Uses of Records Maintained in the System, Policies and Practices for Storage of Records, Policies and Practices for Retrievability of Records, Safeguards, System Manager(s) and Address, and Notification Procedure. VA is republishing the system notice in its entirety.
Loan Guaranty: Delegation of Authority
This document amends the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) loan guaranty regulations to correct an oversight in the delegation of authority to exercise the powers and functions of the Secretary with respect to the guaranty or insurance of loans and the rights and liabilities arising therefrom. This document also incorporates into regulatory form delegatory authority already granted certain VA loan guaranty officials to administer and manage properties acquired by VA.
