Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Operations and Maintenance Facility South Project, King County, Washington
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), as lead Federal agency, and the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit), as local project sponsor and joint lead agency, intend to prepare an EIS pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to evaluate the benefits and impacts of the proposed Operations and Maintenance Facility (OMF) South project in King County, Washington.
Grant Programs for Urbanized Areas: Program Guidance and Application Instructions, Proposed Circular
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is seeking public comment on a new, consolidated circular entitled, ``Grant Programs for Urbanized Areas: Program Guidance and Application Instructions'' which consolidates and replaces the circulars for the Urbanized Area Formula Grants Program, the State of Good Repair Grants Program, and the Urbanized Area formula component of the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program. The update and consolidation of the circulars incorporate provisions from the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act; the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL); the Uniform Administrative Requirements for Federal awards to non-Federal entities; and current FTA policies and procedures.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice announces the intention of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to approve a new information collection: Public Transportation Safety Program.
Announcement of Fiscal Year 2023 Low or No Emission Program and Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program and Project Selections
The U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the award of a total of $1,689,864,104, including $1,216,941,397 to projects under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Low or No Emission Grant Program (Low-No) and $472,922,707 to projects under the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program (Buses and Bus Facilities Program) and provides administrative guidance on project implementation.
