Public Transportation Agency Safety Plans
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is proposing new requirements for Public Transportation Agency Safety Plans (PTASP) that include revised requirements for Agency Safety Plans (ASP), safety committees, cooperation with frontline transit worker representatives in the development of ASPs, safety risk reduction programs, safety performance targets, de-escalation training for certain transit workers, and addressing infectious diseases through the Safety Management System (SMS) process. FTA also proposes revisions to the regulation to coordinate and align with other FTA programs and safety rulemakings.
FTA Fiscal Year 2023 Apportionments, Allocations and Program Information
This notice provides priorities for programs in fiscal year (FY) 2023, announces the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, and full-year apportionments and allocations for grant programs, provides contract authority, and describes plans for several competitive programs.
Limitation on Claims Against Proposed Public Transportation Projects-Inglewood Transit Connector Project, and METRORapid Inner Katy Bus Rapid Transit Project
This notice announces final environmental actions taken by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regarding two projects: Inglewood Transit Connector Project, City of Inglewood (City), Los Angeles County, California; and METRORapid Inner Katy Bus Rapid Transit Project West Valley, Houston, Harris County, Texas. The purpose of this notice is to publicly announce FTA's environmental decisions on the subject projects and to activate the limitation on any claims that may challenge these final environmental actions.
Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program
The FHWA and FTA are issuing this notice to advise other Federal, State, and local agencies, Tribes, and the public that a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) will be prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for the Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) Program for proposed highway and high-capacity transit improvements between Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, across the Columbia River in the Interstate 5 (I-5) corridor, including the interstate bridge replacement and addressing changes that have occurred since the I-5 Columbia River Crossing (CRC) Project's 2011 Record of Decision (ROD).
