Federal Highway Administration September 15, 2023 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

This notice announces final actions taken by FHWA and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) relating to the proposed Mid-States Corridor Project in southern Indiana. The public is advised that FHWA issued a Record of Decision (ROD) which concludes the Tier 1 Mid-States Corridor Project studies. The ROD is combined with the Mid-States Corridor Project Tier 1 Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) prepared by FHWA and the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

The FHWA is withdrawing the notice, ``Agency Information Collection Activities: Request for Comments for a New Information Collection,'' published in the Federal Register on August 31, 2023.

The FHWA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) approval for an information collection, which is summarized below under SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION. We are required to publish this notice in the Federal Register by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
