The Naval Research Advisory Committee (NRAC) will meet to hold classified briefs of proprietary information. All sessions of the meetings will be devoted to briefings, discussions and technical examination of information related to the assessment of modern lighter than air applications and their potential value for the full spectrum of Navy missions from an affordability and utility perspective and to meet current and new threat needs. The sessions will also identify, review, and assess technologies for reducing fuel consumption and for militarily useful alternative fuels.

The Department of the Navy proposes to add a system of records to its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended.

Pursuant to section (102)(2)(c) of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, and the regulations implemented by the Council on Environmental Quality (40 CFR parts 1500-1508), the Department of the Navy (Navy) intends to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Introduction of the F/A- 18 E/F Super Hornet Aircraft to the East Coast of the United States. The SEIS will provide additional analysis of the environmental consequences associated with the construction and operation of an Outlying Landing Field (OLF) to support Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP) operations of Super Hornet squadrons stationed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Virginia, and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina.

The Department of the Navy published a document in the Federal Register of May 25, 2005, announcing a closed meeting of the CNO Executive Panel. The document contained incorrect date and time.

The U.S. Naval Academy Board of Visitors will meet to make such inquiry, as the Board shall deem necessary into the state of morale and discipline, the curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, and academic methods of the Naval Academy. The meeting will include discussions of personnel issues at the Naval Academy, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. The executive session of this meeting will be closed to the public.

The purpose of the meeting is to elicit the advice of the board on the Naval Service's Postgraduate Education Program and the collaborative exchange and partnership between NPS and the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). The board examines the effectiveness with which the NPS is accomplishing its mission. To this end, the board will inquire into the curricula; instruction; physical equipment; administration; state of morale of the student body, faculty, and staff; fiscal affairs; and any other matters relating to the operation of the NPS as the board considers pertinent. This meeting will be open to the public.

The Board of Visitors of the Marine Corps University (BOV MCU) will meet to review, develop, and provide recommendations on all aspects of the academic and administrative policies of the University; examine all aspects of professional military education operations; and provide such oversight and advice, as is necessary, to facilitate high educational standards and cost effective operations. The Board will be focusing primarily on the University's curriculum review process and reorganization efforts. The Department of the Navy published a notice in the Federal Register of March 16, 2005, announcing intent to grant a partially exclusive license with Autoliv, Inc. The notice contained an incorrect type of license to be granted and an incorrect company name.
