Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 9.52(b) of Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 9, Subpart B, of a Plan of Operations submitted by Kindee Oil and Gas Texas, LLC, for the DM Murdock Deep 1 Well in Padre Island National Seashore, Kenedy County, Texas. Additionally, the NPS has prepared an Environmental Assessment and Floodplain Statement of Findings for this proposal.
30-Day Notice of Submission of Study Package to Office of Management and Budget; Opportunity for Public Comment
Under provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and 5 CFR Part 1320, Reporting and Record Keeping Requirements, the National Park Service (NPS) invites comments on a proposed new collection of information (OMB 1024-xxxx). The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has up to 60 days to approve or disapprove the NPS request for the collection of information, but may respond after 30 days. Therefore, to ensure maximum consideration, OMB should receive public comments within 30 days of the date on which this notice is published in the Federal Register. This study will provide the NPS and park managers with critical public input regarding deer issues in and around northeastern NPS units. The study will use a mail survey of hometown in communities near parks to assess: (1) The degree to which experience, individual capacity, and perceptions of institutional capacity affect residents' intention to participate in deer management planning, (2) the degree of cognitive co-orientation between park managers and stakeholders about deer and deer management, and (3) social and demographic attributes of residents with different degrees of intention to participate and/or co- orientation to managers.
Announcement of the National Park Service Subsistence Resource Commission Meetings Within the Alaska Region
The National Park Service (NPS) announces the Subsistence Resource Commission (SRC) meeting schedule for the following areas: Aniakchak National Monument, Lake Clark National Park and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The purpose of each meeting is to develop and continue work on subsistence hunting program recommendations and other related subsistence management issues. Each meeting is open to the public and will have time allocated for public testimony. The public is welcomed to present written or oral comments to the SRC. The NPS SRC program is authorized under title VIII, section 808, of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act, Public Law 96-487, to operate in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Draft meeting minutes will be available upon request from each Superintendent for public inspection approximately six weeks after each meeting.

Notice of Availability of Record of Decision (ROD) for the Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve Monument Management Plan (MMP)/Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, the National Park and Recreation Act of 1978, and the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the National Park Service (NPS) announce the availability of the Record of Decision for the Monument Management Plan (MMP) for the Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, located in southeastern Idaho. The Idaho State Director, BLM, and the Pacific West Regional Director, NPS, have signed the ROD, effective upon signing.
