This Ordinance will increase the ability of the tribal government to control the community's liquor distribution and possession, and at the same time will provide an important source of revenue for the continued operation and strengthening of the tribal government and the delivery of tribal services.

The total critical habitat area proposed in this rule, including critical habitat units that overlap for the two species, is 4,467 ha (11,038 ac).

The NPS will be the lead Federal Agency for preparation of the EIS, and ODNR and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) will be cooperating agencies. The Canal Diversion Dam (alternatively known as the Brecksville Dam, Station Road Dam, SR82 Dam, or SUM-3253-1) on the Cuyahoga River is 183 feet long, nearly 8 feet high, and feeds water into the Ohio and Erie Canal that then drains north through Cuyahoga Valley National Park and into Cleveland Metropark's Ohio and Erie Canal Reservation. The watered portion of the canal and its historic features are a National Historic Landmark.

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has made available for public review and comment the Draft EIS for the Walker River Basin Acquisition Program. (Acquisition Program). Reclamation is directed in Public Law 109-103 to provide $70 million in funding to the University of Nevada to implement a program for environmental restoration in the Walker River Basin. The law directs that the funds be used by the University to acquire from willing sellers land, water appurtenant to the land, and related interests in the Walker River Basin, Nevada. Acquired water rights would be transferred to provide water to Walker Lake. The funding is also for the University to establish and operate an agricultural and natural resources center.
Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Work Group (AMWG)

The Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program (AMP) was implemented as a result of the Record of Decision on the Operation of Glen Canyon Dam Final Environmental Impact Statement to comply with consultation requirements of the Grand Canyon Protection Act (Pub. L. 102-575) of 1992. The AMP includes a federal advisory committee, the Adaptive Management Work Group (AMWG), a technical work group (TWG), a Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center, and independent review panels. The AMWG makes recommendations to the Secretary of the Interior concerning Glen Canyon Dam operations and other management actions to protect resources downstream of Glen Canyon Dam consistent with the Grand Canyon Protection Act. The TWG is a subcommittee of the AMWG and provides technical advice and recommendations to the AMWG.
