Department of State May 2021 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

The Department of State has submitted the information collection described below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 we are requesting comments on this collection from all interested individuals and organizations. The purpose of this Notice is to allow 30 days for public comment.

The Department of State proposes to amend the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to update the definition of regular employee to allow subject persons to work remotely, and to clarify the contractual relationships that meet the definition of regular employee.

Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects being imported from abroad pursuant to agreements with their foreign owners or custodians for temporary display in the exhibition ``Sean Scully: The Shape of Ideas,'' at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, are of cultural significance, and, further, that their temporary exhibition or display within the United States as aforementioned is in the national interest. I have ordered that Public Notice of these determinations be published in the Federal Register.

Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects being imported from abroad pursuant to agreements with their foreign owner or custodian for temporary display in the exhibition ``Medieval Treasures from M[uuml]nster Cathedral'' at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, Ohio, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, are of cultural significance, and, further, that their temporary exhibition or display within the United States as aforementioned is in the national interest. I have ordered that Public Notice of these determinations be published in the Federal Register.

Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that one object being imported from abroad pursuant to an agreement with its foreign owner or custodian for temporary display in the exhibition ``The Spirit Wraps Around You'' at the Alaska State Museum, Juneau, Alaska, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, is of cultural significance, and, further, that its temporary exhibition or display within the United States as aforementioned is in the national interest. I have ordered that Public Notice of these determinations be published in the Federal Register.
