The Department of State has submitted the information collection described below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 we are requesting comments on this collection from all interested individuals and organizations. The purpose of this Notice is to allow 30 days for public comment.

Town Hall Meeting on Modernizing the Columbia River Treaty Regime
The Department of State will hold a Town Hall meeting, co- hosted by the Northwest Power and Conservation Council (NWPCC) and the Idaho Office of the Governor, on July 18, 2019, in Boise, Idaho, to discuss the modernization of the Columbia River Treaty (CRT) regime.

Notice and Request for Comments on the Implications of Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) Regimes on Global Health and Biomedical Research
In order to inform U.S. Government policy and international engagement, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) invites submission of comments from the public, academia, relevant industries, and other interested stakeholders on the implications of Access and Benefit- Sharing (ABS) regimes on global health and biomedical research. In particular, DOS invites comments related to the effects of Nagoya Protocol and other ABS implementation on public health systems. The Department will hold at least two public meetings to discuss these issues, on June 25 and September 20, 2019.
