The Secretary of State's designation of ``Countries of Particular Concern'' for religious freedom violations. Pursuant to section 408(a) of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 (Pub. L. 105-292), as amended (the Act), notice is hereby given that, on July 18, 2014, the Secretary of State, under authority delegated by the President, has designated each of the following as a ``Country of Particular Concern'' (CPC) under section 402(b) of the Act, for having engaged in or tolerated particularly severe violations of religious freedom: Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The Department of State published a Federal Register document on August 28, 2014, in Volume 79, No. 167, page 51247, amending the Schedule of Fees for Consular Services (Schedule) for certain nonimmigrant visa application processing fees, certain immigrant visa application processing and special visa services fees, and certain citizenship services fees. The document contained an incorrect effective date. This document corrects the document by changing the effective date that the new fees will go into effect from September 6, 2014 to September 12, 2014 and the date that comments must be received by from October 21, 2014 to October 26, 2014.
Meeting of the United States-Jordan Joint Forum on Environmental Technical Cooperation and Request for Comments on the Meeting Agenda and the 2014-2017 Work Program

The Department of State is providing notice that the governments of the United States and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (the governments) intend to hold the Joint Forum on Environmental Technical Cooperation (Joint Forum) and a public session in Amman, Jordan, on September 8, 2014, at the Royal Scientific Society, Hashemite Auditorium. The governments created the Joint Forum pursuant to the United States-Jordan Joint Statement on Environmental Technical Cooperation (Joint Statement) in support of the United States-Jordan Free Trade Agreement (FTA), both signed on October 24, 2000. During the Joint Forum, the governments will discuss how the United States and Jordan can cooperate to protect the environment, review past bilateral environmental cooperation, and commit to a 2014-2017 Work Program on Environmental Technical Cooperation (Work Program). The Department of State invites members of the public to submit written comments on items to include on the meeting agenda or in the 2014-2017 Work Program. The Department of State also invites interested persons to attend a public session to learn more about the work of the Joint Forum and the new Work Program and provide advice or comments on its implementation.
Renewal of the Charter of the International Telecommunication Advisory Committee on (ITAC)

This notice announces the renewal of the charter for the International Telecommunication Advisory Committees (ITAC). In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463, 5 U.S.C. Appendix) and the general authority of the Secretary of State and the Department of State set forth in Title 22 of the United States Code, in particular Sections 2656 and 2707, the charter of the International Telecommunication Advisory Committee has been extended until August 8, 2016. The ITAC consists of members of the telecommunications industry, ranging from network operators and service providers to equipment vendors, members of academia, members of civil society, and officials of interested government agencies. The ITAC provides views and advice to the Department of State on positions on international telecommunications and information policy matters. This advice has been a major factor in ensuring that the United States was well prepared to participate effectively in the international telecommunications and information policy arena.

Provision of Certain Temporary Sanctions Relief

The United States Government (USG) is renewing temporary waivers of certain sanctions to allow for a discrete range of transactions related to the provision of satellite connectivity services to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). The USG is renewing these waivers based on Iran's commitment to ensure that harmful uplink satellite interference does not emanate from its territory, and verification by the USG that harmful uplink satellite interference is not currently emanating from the territory of Iran.

The Department of State amends the Schedule of Fees for Consular Services (Schedule) for certain nonimmigrant visa application processing fees, certain immigrant visa application processing and special visa services fees, and certain citizenship services fees. More specifically, the rule amends the application processing fees for two categories of petition-based nonimmigrant visas and the tiered application processing fees for immigrant visas.
