The Department of Labor (the Department) is extending the comment period for a proposed individual prohibited transaction exemption (the Proposed Exemption) that would allow current and future asset managers under the UBS corporate umbrella to continue their reliance on PTE 84-14 if they meet the Proposed Exemption's conditions, notwithstanding the judgments of conviction involving entities within the UBS and CSAG corporate umbrellas that are described in the Proposed Exemption.

This document provides notice of the pendency before the Department of Labor (the Department) of a proposed individual exemption from certain of the prohibited transaction restrictions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA or the Act) and/or the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the Code) for the reinsurance of risks and the receipt of a premium by MSK Insurance US, Inc. (the Captive), a captive insurance and reinsurance subsidiary that is wholly-owned by MSKCC, in connection with a single premium group insurance contract sold by an unrelated fronting insurer (the Fronting Insurer) to provide pension annuities to Plan participants and beneficiaries if the conditions in Section III are met in conformance with the definitions in Section I.
Exemption for Certain Prohibited Transactions Involving the Association of Washington Business (AWB) HealthChoice Employee Benefits Trust Located in Olympia, Washington
This document gives notice of an individual exemption from certain prohibited transaction restrictions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). The exemption permits the trustee of a plan funded by the AWB HealthChoice Employee Benefits Trust (the Arrangement), to hire entities affiliated with AWB to provide services to the Arrangement for a fee subject to conditions designed to safeguard the interests of the plan and its participants and beneficiaries.

The Department of Labor (the Department), in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act, provides the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and continuing collections of information. This helps the Department assess the impact of its information collection requirements and minimize the public's reporting burden.
