Emergency Response Standard
OSHA is scheduling an informal public hearing on its proposed rule "Emergency Response Standard." The public hearing will begin November 12, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on February 5, 2024. The initial public comment period was scheduled to end May 6, 2024, but was extended to June 21, 2024, in response to numerous requests from the public. The comment period was extended again, until July 22, 2024, due to more extension requests from stakeholders.

Comment Period Extension for Proposed Exemption for Certain Prohibited Transaction Restrictions Involving UBS AG (UBS) Located in Zurich, Switzerland
The Department of Labor (the Department) is extending the comment period for a proposed individual prohibited transaction exemption (the Proposed Exemption) that would allow current and future asset managers under the UBS corporate umbrella to continue their reliance on PTE 84-14 if they meet the Proposed Exemption's conditions, notwithstanding the judgments of conviction involving entities within the UBS and CSAG corporate umbrellas that are described in the Proposed Exemption.

Claims for Compensation Under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act
The Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) is publishing this final rule to update its criteria for establishing beryllium sensitivity. This change brings OWCP's regulations into alignment with a statutory provision that was enacted as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 on December 22, 2023. The new provision provides an additional way by which both previously ineligible and new claimants can establish beryllium sensitivity due to occupational exposure to beryllium.

Proposed Exemption From Certain Prohibited Transaction Restrictions Involving Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC or the Applicant) Located in New York, New York
