Department of Labor May 2, 2019 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

On December 14, 2018, the Secretary of Labor (the Secretary) announced the renewal of the Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (MACOSH). The MACOSH charter will expire after two years on December 14, 2020. On April 11, 2019, the Secretary selected 15 members and a Special Agency Liaison to serve on the Committee. The Committee is a representative balance of the maritime industry representation (e.g., shipyard employment, longshoring, marine terminal, and commercial fishing industries), geographic location, and in the views and interests represented by the members.

The Department of Labor (DOL) is submitting the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) sponsored information collection request (ICR) revision titled, ``Functional Affirmative Action Programs Agreement Approval Process'' to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval for use in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995. Public comments on the ICR are invited. The DOL notes an earlier version of this Notice appeared in the Federal Register on April 16, 2019 (84 FR 15638); this document replaces the earlier publication in its entirety.
