The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) seeks feedback from the public on a proposed revision of NIJ Standard 0115.00, Stab Resistance of Personal Body Armor, that specifies minimum performance requirements and test methods for the stab resistance of body armor used by U.S. criminal justice personnel that is intended to protect the torso against knife and spike stab threats.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) places methyl 2-(1- (4-fluorobenzyl)-1H-indazole-3-carboxamido)-3-methylbutanoate (other names: FUB-AMB, MMB-FUBINACA, AMB-FUBINACA), including its salts, isomers, and salts of isomers whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, and salts of isomers is possible, in schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. The DOJ proposes to modify Justice FDMS to incorporate the changes resulting from the transfer by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to the General Services Administration (GSA) of the Regulations.gov internet portal and accompanying centralized docket system. Changes to the system include adding an additional routine use pertaining to GSA's access to agency records in its role as manager of the e-Rulemaking Program platform, supplementing and clarifying the administrative, technical and physical safeguards applied to the platform, and noting the changes to the location of the system itself.

The Department of Justice is amending regulations that require DNA-sample collection from individuals who are arrested, facing charges, or convicted, and from non-United States persons who are detained under the authority of the United States. The amendment removes a provision authorizing the Secretary of Homeland Security to exempt from the sample-collection requirement certain aliens from whom collection of DNA samples is not feasible because of operational exigencies or resource limitations. This restores the Attorney General's plenary legal authority to authorize and direct all relevant Federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, to collect DNA samples from individuals who are arrested, facing charges, or convicted, and from non-United States persons who are detained under the authority of the United States.
