HUD announces the availability on its Web site of the applicant information, submission deadlines, funding criteria and other requirements for HUD's HOPE VI Revitalization Program NOFA for FY 2009. Approximately $113 million is made available through this NOFA, to remain available until September 30, 2010, by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act, 2009 (Pub. L. 111-8, approved March 11, 2009) for HUD's HOPE VI Revitalization Program. Approximately $200,000 is made available through this NOFA, by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act, 2009 (Pub. L. 111-8, approved March 11, 2009), to enable doctoral candidates enrolled at institutions of higher education accredited by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to complete their dissertations on policy-relevant housing and urban development issues. The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is issuing a final regulation to provide the procedures and guidelines under which it will implement the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. The regulation provides the policies and procedures whereby individuals may obtain notification of whether an FHFA system of records contains information about the individual and, if so, how to access or amend a record under the Privacy Act. Upon adoption of this regulation the Privacy Act regulations of the Federal Housing Finance Board and the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, will be removed.
