Automated Commercial Environment (ACE): National Customs Automation Program Test of Automated Truck Manifest for Truck Carrier Accounts; Deployment Schedule
The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, in conjunction with the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, is currently conducting a National Customs Automation Program (NCAP) test concerning the transmission of automated truck manifest data. This document announces the next two groups, or clusters, of ports to be deployed for this test.
Establishing a New Port-of-Entry in the Tri-Cities Area of Tennessee and Virginia and Terminating the User-Fee Status of the Tri-Cities Regional Airport
This document proposes to amend the Department of Homeland Security regulations pertaining to the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection's field organization by establishing a new port-of-entry in the Tri-Cities area of the States of Tennessee and Virginia, including the Tri-Cities Regional Airport. The new port-of-entry would include the same geographical boundaries of the current Customs and Border Protection User Fee Port No. 2082, which encompasses Sullivan County, Tennessee; Washington County, Tennessee; and Washington County, Virginia. The user-fee status of Tri-Cities Regional Airport, located in Blountville, Tennessee, will be terminated. These changes will assist the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection in its continuing efforts to provide better service to carriers, importers and the general public.
Proposed Collection; Comment Request; Sworn Statement of Refugee Applying for Admission Into the United States
The Department of Homeland Security, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, CBP invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on an information collection requirement concerning the Sworn Statement of Refugee Applying for Admission into the United States (CBP Form G-646). This request for comment is being made pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (Public Law 104-13; 44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)).
Notice of Issuance of Final Determination Concerning Multi-Line Telephone Sets
This document provides notice that the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a final determination concerning the country of origin of certain multi-line telephone sets to be offered to the United States Government under an undesignated government procurement contract. The final determination found that, based upon the facts presented, the country of origin of the Avaya Partner multi- line telephone set is Mexico.
Establishing a New Port of Entry at New River Valley, VA, and Terminating the User-Fee Status of New River Valley Airport
This document proposes to amend the Department of Homeland Security's Regulations pertaining to the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection's field organization by conditionally establishing a new port of entry at New River Valley, Virginia, and terminating the user- fee status of New River Valley Airport. The new port of entry would consist of all the area surrounded by the continuous outer boundaries of the Montgomery, Pulaski and Roanoke counties in the state of Virginia, including New River Valley Airport, which is currently operated as a user-fee airport. These changes will assist the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection in its continuing efforts to provide better service to carriers, importers and the general public.
