The Coast Guard will enforce special local regulations for the Charleston Race Week from April 9, 2025, through April 13, 2025, to provide for the safety of life on navigable waterways during this event. Our regulation for marine events within the Seventh Coast Guard District identifies the regulated area for this event in Charleston, SC. During the enforcement period, no person or vessel may enter, transit through, anchor in, or remain within the designated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Charleston (COTP) or a designated representative.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will submit the information collection abstracted below to the Office of Management and Budget for review and clearance in accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. FEMA invites the general public to take this opportunity to comment on an extension, without change, of a currently approved information collection in accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice seeks comments concerning a list of hotels, motels, and similar places of public accommodations meeting minimum fire-safety requirements. The information collected is voluntary and if approved for listing, the lodging establishment may be used by Federal employees on government related travel and for Federal agency conferences. As the list is open to use by the public, non-government travelers may use the list to identify lodging meeting minimum life-safety criteria from fire.

On February 24, 2025, FEMA published in the Federal Register a proposed flood hazard determination notice that contained an erroneous table. This notice provides corrections to that table to be used in lieu of the erroneous information. The table provided here represents the proposed flood hazard determinations and communities affected for Berrien County, Michigan (All Jurisdictions).

On July 9, 2024, the Coast Guard updated its special local regulations for the Fifth District. Due to an error, however, we were unable to add an event. This correcting amendment adds the Tiki Lee's Shootout on the River High Speed Power Boat Event and Air Show.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) invites public comment on one currently approved Information Collection Request (ICR), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number 1652-0060 that we will submit to OMB for an extension in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. The collection involves recordkeeping requirements and petitions for reconsideration by owners and/or operators of repair stations certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The Department of Homeland Security ("DHS") is terminating the categorical parole programs for inadmissible aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela and their immediate family members (hereinafter referred to as "CHNV parole programs") that DHS announced in 2022 and 2023. This Federal Register notice is intended to provide context and guidance to the public regarding the termination of the CHNV parole programs and related employment authorization.

The Coast Guard proposes to modify the operating schedule that governs the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railroad Bridge, across the Okeechobee Waterway (OWW), mile 7.41, at Stuart, FL. This proposed rule will allow the drawbridge to operate on a more predictable and reliable schedule to meet the needs of competing modes of transportation. This action is necessary due to a significant increase in railway activity. We invite your comments on this proposed rulemaking.

This document amends the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations to extend import restrictions on certain archaeological material from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Educational and Cultural Affairs, United States Department of State, has made the requisite determinations for extending the import restrictions, which were originally imposed by CBP Decision 20-02. These import restrictions are being extended pursuant to an exchange of diplomatic notes. The CBP regulations are being amended to reflect this further extension through January 14, 2030.

The Coast Guard will enforce the California Half Ironman Triathlon special local regulations on the waters of Oceanside, California on April 5, 2025. These special local regulations are necessary to provide for the safety of the participants, crew, spectators, sponsor vessels, and general users of the waterway. During the enforcement period, persons and vessels are prohibited from anchoring, blocking, loitering, or impeding within this regulated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, or his designated representative.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will submit the following Information Collection Request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance.

This notice announces that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will conduct a Voluntary Self-Reported Exit (VSRE) Pilot to collect facial images from certain aliens, specifically aliens subject to Form I-94 (Arrival/Departure Record) requirements, exiting the United States from any location. CBP will conduct the VSRE Pilot to determine the effectiveness of this technology as part of CBP's initiatives to create a comprehensive biometrics entry-exit system, as well as to further automate the I-94 process for these aliens. This notice describes the purpose of the pilot, pilot procedures, how CBP will use the collected data, eligible participants, duration of the pilot, how CBP will analyze the results, and privacy considerations.

In keeping with Presidential directive, the Coast Guard is amending its regulations to update the name of the "Gulf of Mexico" to the "Gulf of America."

The Coast Guard is proposing to disestablish the existing security zone for Rattlesnake, Tampa, FL in old Tampa Bay, including on land portions of the Chemical Formulators Chlorine Facility. Since the implementation of the regulation, the facility has permanently ceased operations making the provisions of the security zone no longer applicable. This proposed action would remove existing regulations that restrict vessel movement through the area. We invite your comments on this proposed rulemaking.

In accordance with Executive Order 14217, Commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy, the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined that the termination of the Homeland Security Academic Partnership Council, Tribal Homeland Security Advisory Council, Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board, Public- Private Analytic Exchange Program, Homeland Security Science and Technology Advisory Committee, Cyber Investigations Advisory Board, Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council, and Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee is in the best interest of the Department of Homeland Security. This determination follows consultation with the DHS Committee Management Officer, and the Committee Management Secretariat, General Services Administration, as required.

This notice lists communities where the addition or modification of Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway (hereinafter referred to as flood hazard determinations), as shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), and where applicable, in the supporting Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports, prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for each community, is appropriate because of new scientific or technical data. The FIRM, and where applicable, portions of the FIS report, have been revised to reflect these flood hazard determinations through issuance of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR), in accordance with Federal Regulations. The current effective community number is shown in the table below and must be used for all new policies and renewals.

The Secretary of Homeland Security has determined that the renewal of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) is necessary and in the public interest. This determination follows consultation with the Committee Management Secretariat, General Services Administration.

In order to effectuate the President's Executive Order 14194, "Imposing Duties to Address the Situation At Our Southern Border," as amended by Executive Order 14198, "Progress on the Situation at Our Southern Border," and subsequently amended by Executive Order 14227, "Amendment to Duties to Address the Situation At Our Southern Border," which imposed specified rates of duty on imports of articles that are products of Mexico, and further amended by the President's March 6, 2025 Executive order "Amendment to Duties to Address the Flow of Illicit Drugs Across Our Southern Border," the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined that appropriate action is needed to modify the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) as set out in the Annex to this notice.
