Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee
The Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee (MERPAC) will meet on March 11, 2014 and March 12, 2014 in Dania Beach, FL, to discuss various issues related to the training and fitness of merchant marine personnel. This meeting will be open to the public.
Safety Zone; BWRC Southwest Showdown Three; Parker, AZ
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone within the Lake Moolvalya region of the navigable waters of the Colorado River in Parker, Arizona in support of the Blue Water Resort and Casino (BWRC) and Arizona Drag Boat Association Southwest Showdown Three high speed boat race. This safety zone is necessary to provide for the safety of the participants, crew, spectators, participating vessels, and other vessels and users of the waterway. Persons and vessels are prohibited from entering into, transiting through, or anchoring within this safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, or his designated representative.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Importer ID Input Record
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) of the Department of Homeland Security will be submitting the following information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act: Importer ID Input Record (CBP Form 5106). This is a proposed extension of an information collection that was previously approved. CBP is proposing that this information collection be extended with no change to the burden hours. This document is published to obtain comments from the public and affected agencies. This proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register (78 FR 67383) on November 12, 2013, allowing for a 60-day comment period. This notice allows for an additional 30 days for public comments. This process is conducted in accordance with 5 CFR 1320.10.
