Epilepsy Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration will be issuing noncompetitive supplemental funding under the Maternal and Child Health Bureau's Epilepsy Program to the Epilepsy Foundation of America (U23MC19824) to support additional evaluation activities.
Part C Early Intervention Services Grant Under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program
HRSA will be awarding to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee, a one-time non-competitive replacement grant for Part C funds to support comprehensive primary care services for persons living with HIV/AIDS, including primary adult HIV medical care, adult psychiatric and mental health therapy, nurse medical case management focused on treatment adherence, and referrals to specialty medical care. These funds will help to avoid a disruption of HIV clinical care to clients in Nashville, Tennessee, and the surrounding counties.
Health Information Technology Implementation
HRSA will be transferring the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) (section 330 of the Public Health Service Act) Health Information Technology Implementation for Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCN) funds originally awarded to Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS), to support the implementation of a HCCN in the state of Virginia to enhance the quality and efficiency of primary and preventive care as a safety net through the effective use of Health Information Technology (HIT).
