Health Center Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be transferring Health Center Program (section 330 of the Public Health Service Act) New Access Point funds originally awarded to William F. Ryan Community Health Center, Inc., to the Community Health Center of Richmond to ensure the provision of critical primary health care services to underserved populations in Staten Island, Richmond County, New York.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is issuing a non-competitive award to the Community Health Clinics of Northeast Texas (CHCNET) to avoid disruption and continue providing primary health care services to the population of Smith County, Texas, as an independent organization from the Northeast Texas Public Health District (NETPHD).
Recruitment of Sites for Assignment of Corps Personnel Obligated Under the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announces that the listing of entities, and their Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) scores, that will receive priority for the assignment of National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholarship recipients (Corps Personnel, Corps members) during the period July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010, is posted on the NHSC Web site at https:// nhscjobs.hrsa.gov/. This list specifies which entities are eligible to receive assignment of Corps members who are participating in the NHSC Scholarship Program. A separate Federal Register Notice pertaining to sites eligible to receive NHSC Loan Repayment Program participants and non-obligated individuals was published on May 28, 2009 (74 FR 25568). Please note that not all vacancies associated with sites on the list described below will be for Corps members, but could be for NHSC Scholarship Program participants serving their obligation through the Private Practice Option.
Reimbursement of Travel and Subsistence Expenses toward Living Organ Donation Eligibility Guidelines
This notice finalizes an amendment to the eligibility guidelines proposed on March 4, 2009 in the Federal Register (74 FR 9407). The purpose of this notice was to solicit comments on the amendment to the Program Eligibility Guidelines proposed by HRSA concerning the Reimbursement of Travel and Subsistence Expenses Program follow-up period.
Maternal Child Health Bureau, Healthy Start Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is issuing non-competitive supplemental funding under the Maternal Child Health Bureau, Healthy Start Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health program to ensure that the Northern Manhattan Perinatal Partnership (NMPP), the primary provider of prenatal services in Central Harlem, can continue to provide much needed services to help stem the rise in and ultimately reduce the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in the affected service area.
