The guidance document provides manufacturers of cellular and gene therapy (CGT) products with recommendations for developing tests to measure potency. The recommendations are intended to clarify the potency information that could support an investigational new drug application (IND) or a biologics license application (BLA). The guidance announced in this notice finalizes the draft guidance of the same title dated October 2008.
