Wind and Water Power Program
All programs with the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) are required to undertake rigorous, objective peer review of their funded projects in order to ensure and enhance the management, relevance, effectiveness, and productivity of those projects. The 2011 Wind and Water Power Program, Water Power Peer Review Meeting will review the Program's portfolio of conventional hydropower and marine and hydrokinetic research and development and projects. The 2011 Water Power Peer Review Meeting will be held November 1 through November 3, 2011 in Alexandria, VA.
Decision and Order Amending Waivers Granted to Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA, Inc. From the Department of Energy Commercial Package Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Test Procedures
This notice publishes the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Decision and Order in Case No. CAC-037, which amends the current waivers applicable to Mitsubishi's S&L Class and WR2 and WY Series products to require the use of Air-conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute 1230 (AHRI) as the alternative test procedure.
Decision and Order Granting a Waiver to LG Electronics, Inc. From the Department of Energy Commercial Package Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Test Procedures
This notice publishes the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Decision and Order in Case No. CAC-032, which grants LG Electronics, Inc. (LG) a waiver from the existing DOE test procedures applicable to commercial package air-source and water-source central air conditioners and heat pumps. The waiver is specific to the LG Multi V SYNC II and Multi V Water II variable refrigerant flow (VRF) multi-split commercial heat pumps. As a condition of this waiver, LG must use the alternate test procedure set forth in this notice to test and rate its Multi V SYNC II and Multi V Water II VRF multi-split commercial heat pumps.

This notice announces a reopening of the time period for submitting comments on the request for information on Building Energy Codes Cost Analysis published in the Federal Register on September 13, 2011. 76 FR 56413. The original comment period closed on October 13, 2011. The comment period is reopened for an additional 30 days.

This notice announces receipt of and publishes the Miele, Inc. (Miele) petition for waiver from specified portions of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) test procedure for determining the energy consumption of dishwashers. Today's notice also grants an interim waiver of the dishwasher test procedure. Through this notice, DOE also solicits comments with respect to the Miele petition.

Today's notice also grants an interim waiver of the clothes washer test procedure. Through this notice, DOE also solicits comments with respect to the LG petition.
Commercial Building Workforce Job/Task Analyses
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) announces the availability of a draft set of six Job/Task Analyses applicable to the commercial buildings credentialing sector and the commercial buildings workforce. Through this notice, DOE also requests comments on these documents. Job/Task Analyses were developed for the following six job classifications: Commercial Building Energy Auditor, Commercial Building Energy Modeler, Commissioning/Retro-Commissioning Authority, Energy/Sustainability Manager, Facility Manager, and Operating Engineer/Building Technician. These documents are intended for voluntary use by federal, state, municipal and utility ratepayer-funded energy efficiency programs and private sector commercial building contractors, as well as any other organization, company, or individual involved or concerned with the training of persons in the commercial building space.
Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee
This notice announces an open meeting of the Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee under section 9008(d) of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008. The Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463, 86 Stat. 770) requires that agencies publish these notices in the Federal Register to allow for public participation.
