Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program-Eastern Division-Rate Order No. WAPA-213
The Upper Great Plains (UGP) region of the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) proposes revised formula rates for the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program (P-SMBP)Eastern Division (ED) firm power, firm peaking power service, and sale of surplus products. The existing formula rates for these services, under Rate Schedules P-SED-F14 and P- SED-FP14, and sale of surplus products, under formula rate schedule P- SED-M2, do not expire until December 31, 2027; however, the existing firm power and firm peaking power service rates no longer provide sufficient revenue to recover interest expense and repay investments. The formula rate for sale of surplus products is not changing but is being included in Rate Order No. WAPA-213 (WAPA-213) in order to make these rate schedules effective for the same time frame.
Loveland Area Projects-Rate Order No. WAPA-212
The Rocky Mountain (RM) region of the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) proposes revised formula rates for the Loveland Area Projects (LAP) firm electric service (FES) and sale of surplus products. LAP consists of the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project (Fry-Ark) and the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program (P-SMBP)Western Division (WD), which were integrated for marketing and rate-making purposes in 1989. The existing formula rates for these services, under Rate Schedules L- F12 and L-M3, do not expire until December 31, 2027; however, the existing FES rate no longer provides sufficient revenues to recover interest expense and repay investments. The formula rate for sale of surplus products is not changing but is being included in Rate Order No. WAPA-212 (WAPA-212) in order to make these rate schedules effective for the same time frame.
Agency Information Collection Extension
EIA submitted an information collection request for extension as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The information collection requests a three-year extension, with change, of its Form EIA-111 Quarterly Electricity Imports and Exports Report, OMB Control Number 1905-0208. Form EIA-111 collects information on U.S. imports and exports of electricity. Data are used to obtain estimates on the flows of electricity into and out of the United States.

The Department of Energy (DOE) invites public comment on a proposed collection of certain information that DOE is developing for submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed new collection, and allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice.
Notice of Request for Information (RFI) Related to the Department of Energy's Equity Action Plan Update
The Department of Energy (DOE or the Department) is seeking information to assist in carrying out certain responsibilities under the Executive order (E.O.), "Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government" issued on February 22, 2023. Among other requirements, section 3, subsection (b)(iii) of the E.O. directs Federal agencies to submit an Equity Action plan that includes "strategies, including new or revised policies and programs, to address the barriers described in subsection (b)(ii) of this section, and to ensure equitable access and opportunity for underserved communities." DOE is soliciting information on one or more of the topics outlined in this RFI to address in the next update to the Equity Action Plan. The information provided in response to this RFI will inform the preparation of that update to the plan.

Notice of Intent and Request for Information Regarding Computational Tools To Support Class VI Permitting
The Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM), Department of Energy (DOE or Department), on behalf of the National Energy Technology Laboratory, is issuing this NOI to notify interested parties of its intent to develop and release a revised and updated version of the report "Rules and Tools Crosswalk: A Compendium of Computational Tools to Support Geologic Carbon Storage Environmentally Protective UIC Class VI Permitting." The Department also seeks input from all stakeholders through this RFI regarding additional relevant computational tools (or updated information on already documented tools) that should be considered as the authors prepare the new release of the aforementioned report.
