The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is holding a technical conference to address implementation issues associated with the Commission's posting proposal, such as obtaining and posting actual and scheduled flow information and obtaining and posting flow information from storage facilities, as set for in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking issued December 21, 2007, in Commission Docket No. RM08-2-000.

This Notice announces the Department of Energy (DOE) acceptance of claims in FY 2008 from eligible active uranium and thorium processing sites for reimbursement under Title X of the Energy Policy Act of 1992. For FY 2008, Congress has appropriated approximately $19.8 million for reimbursement of certain costs of remedial action at these sites. The approved amount of claims submitted during FY 2007 and unpaid approved balances for claims submitted in prior years will be paid by April 30, 2008, subject to the availability of funds. If the available funds are less than the total approved claims, these payments will be prorated, if necessary, based on the amount of available FY 2008 appropriations, unpaid approved claim balances (approximately $5.8 million), and claims received in May 2007 (approximately $26 million).

Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Department of Energy, pursuant to Section 229 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, as implemented by 10 CFR part 860 published in the Federal Register on August 26, 1963 (28 FR 8400), prohibits the unauthorized entry, as provided in 10 CFR 860.3 and the unauthorized introduction of weapons or dangerous materials, as provided in 10 CFR 860.4, into or upon the following described facilities of the Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant of the United States Department of Energy. The following amendments are made:

The Department of Energy (DOE) is initiating the rulemaking and data collection process to consider establishing amended energy conservation standards for certain fluorescent lamp ballasts and to consider whether energy conservation standards should apply to additional fluorescent lamp ballasts. Accordingly, DOE will hold an informal public meeting to discuss and receive comments on its planned analytical approach and issues it will address in this rulemaking proceeding. DOE welcomes written comments from the public on this rulemaking. To inform stakeholders and to facilitate this process, DOE has prepared a Framework Document which details the analytical approach and identifies several issues on which DOE is particularly interested in receiving comment. A copy of the Framework Document is available at: https://www.eere.energy.gov/buildings/appliancestandards/resid ential/ fluorescentlampballasts.html. In a separate rulemaking proceeding, DOE plans to review and to consider amendments to the test procedures used for determining the performance of fluorescent lamp ballasts. However, DOE is requesting preliminary comments on the fluorescent lamp ballast test procedure in this Framework Document.

This notice announces a meeting of the Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory Board (EM SSAB), Oak Ridge Reservation. The Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. No. 92-463, 86 Stat. 770) requires that public notice of this meeting be announced in the Federal Register.

The Department of Energy (DOE), pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, intends to extend for three years, an information collection request with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) concerning the Department-wide Printing and Publishing Activities. Comments are invited on: (a) Whether the extended collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information shall have practical utility; (b) the accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed collection of information, including the validity of the methodology and assumptions used; (c) ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and (d) ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on respondents, including through the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

The EIA has submitted the ``Natural Gas Processing Plant Survey,'' Form EIA-757 to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and a three-year approval under section 3507(h)(1) of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104-13) (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq., at 3507(h)(1)).
