Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC)
The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC) was established under section 807 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT), Public Law 109-58; 119 Stat. 849. The Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-463, 86 Stat. 770, requires that public notice of these meetings be announced in the Federal Register. To attend the meeting and/or to make oral statements during the public comment period, please e-mail: HTAC.Committee@ee.doe.gov at least 5 business days before the meeting.
Standards for Business Practices for Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines; Standards for Business Practices for Public Utilities
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) is amending its open access regulations governing standards for business practices and electronic communications with interstate natural gas pipelines and public utilities. The Commission is incorporating by reference certain standards promulgated by the Wholesale Gas Quadrant (WGQ) and the Wholesale Electric Quadrant (WEQ) of the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB). Through this rulemaking, the Commission is seeking to improve coordination between the gas and electric industries in order to improve communications about scheduling of gas- fired generators.
DOE Response to Recommendation 2007-1 of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, Safety-Related In Situ Nondestructive Assay of Radioactive Materials
The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board Recommendation 2007-1, concerning Safety-Related In Situ Nondestructive Assay of Radioactive Materials was published in the Federal Register on May 2, 2007 (72 FR 24279). In accordance with section 315(b) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 2286d(b), the Secretary transmitted the following response to the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board on June 28, 2007.
