Nevada Broadband Workshop
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration's (NTIA) BroadbandUSA Program will host a Broadband Workshop in Reno, Nevada on September 27, 2019. The purpose of the Workshop is to engage the public and stakeholders with information to accelerate broadband connectivity, improve digital inclusion, and support local priorities. The Workshop will provide information on topics including local broadband planning, funding, and engagement with service providers. Speakers and attendees from Nevada, federal agencies, and across the country will come together to explore ways to facilitate the expansion of broadband capacity, access, and utilization.
NTIA 2019 Spectrum Policy Symposium
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), U.S. Department of Commerce, will host a symposium on September 10, 2019, focusing on the development and implementation of a National Spectrum Strategy, pursuant to the Presidential Memorandum, released on October 25, 2018, on ``Developing a Sustainable Spectrum Strategy for America's Future.''
First Responder Network Authority Finance Committee and Board Meeting
The Board of the First Responder Network Authority (``FirstNet Authority Board'') will convene a meeting of the FirstNet Authority Board and the Finance Committee of the FirstNet Authority Board (``Finance Committee'') that will be open to the public via teleconference and WebEx on August 15, 2019.

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will convene a meeting of a multistakeholder process on promoting software component transparency on September 5, 2019.
BroadbandUSA Webinar Series
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), as part of its BroadbandUSA program, promotes innovation and economic growth by supporting efforts to expand broadband access and meaningful use across America. BroadbandUSA serves local and state governments, industry and nonprofits that seek to expand broadband connectivity and promote digital inclusion. BroadbandUSA will host a series of webinars on a monthly basis to engage the public and stakeholders with information to accelerate broadband connectivity, improve digital inclusion, strengthen policies and support local priorities. The Practical Broadband Conversations webinar series will provide an ongoing source of information on a range of topics and issues being addressed by BroadbandUSA, including but not limited to best practices for improving broadband deployment, digital inclusion, workforce skills, smart communities, and economic development.
