Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee Meeting
This notice announces a public meeting of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (Committee). The Committee provides advice to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on spectrum management policy matters.
Revision to the Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is making certain changes to its regulations relating to the public availability of the Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management (NTIA Manual). Specifically, NTIA is releasing an update to the current edition of the NTIA Manual, with which federal agencies must comply when requesting use of radio frequency spectrum. NTIA is making changes to the regulatory text to comply with the Incorporation by Reference formatting structure.
First Responder Network Authority Combined Committee and Board Meeting
The Board of the First Responder Network Authority (``FirstNet Authority Board'') will convene a meeting of the FirstNet Authority Board and the Committees of the Board of the First Responder Network Authority (``Board Committees'') that will be open to the public via teleconference and WebEx on June 20, 2018.
International Internet Policy Priorities
In response to requests for additional time, the Department of Commerce is extending the closing deadline for submitting comments to a request for public comments entitled ``International Internet Policy Priorities'' published in the Federal Register on June 5, 2018. Through this notice, the Department extends the comment period to July 17, 2018.
Multistakeholder Process on Promoting Software Component Transparency
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will convene meetings of a multistakeholder process on promoting software component transparency. This Notice announces the first meeting, which is scheduled for July 19, 2018.
International internet Policy Priorities
Recognizing the vital importance of the internet and digital communications to U.S. innovation, prosperity, education, and civic and cultural life, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce has made it a top priority to encourage growth and innovation for the internet and internet-enabled economy. Towards that end, NTIA is seeking comments and recommendations from all interested stakeholders on its international internet policy priorities for 2018 and beyond. These comments will help inform NTIA to identify priority issues and help NTIA effectively leverage its resources and expertise to address those issues.
