The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a meeting of its Allocation Committee in North Charleston, SC.

The New England Fishery Management Council (Council) is scheduling a public meeting of its Scientific and Statistical Committee on July 10, 2008 to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Recommendations from this group will be brought to the full Council for formal consideration and action, if appropriate.

This notice advises the public that the Western Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) will convene a meeting of the Mariana Archipelago Plan Team in Mangilao, Guam.

NMFS has received a request from the U.S. Navy (Navy) for authorization to take marine mammals incidental to training activities conducted within the Hawaii Range Complex (HRC) for the period of December 2008 through December 2013. Pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), NMFS is proposing regulations to govern that take and requesting information, suggestions, and comments on these proposed regulations.
