Board of Overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
The Board of Overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Board of Overseers) will meet in open session on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. The Board of Overseers, appointed by the Secretary of Commerce, reports the results of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Award) activities to the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) each year, along with its recommendations for the improvement of the Award process. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and review information received from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The agenda will include: Baldrige Program Update, Baldrige Foundation Update, Ethics Review, Alliance for Performance Excellence Update, Communities of Excellence Update, and New Business/Public Comment.

The purpose of this notice is to allow for 60 days of public comment preceding submission of the collection to OMB.

National Construction Safety Team Advisory Committee Meeting
The National Construction Safety Team (NCST) Advisory Committee (Committee) will hold a virtual meeting via web conference on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The primary purposes of this meeting are to update the Committee on the progress of the NCST investigation focused on the impacts of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and on the progress of the NCST investigation focused on the Champlain Towers South partial building collapse that occurred in Surfside, Florida. Request for Nominations for Members To Serve on National Institute of Standards and Technology and National Technical Information Service Federal Advisory Committees
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST or Institute) and the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) invites and requests nomination of individuals for appointment to eleven existing Federal Advisory Committees (Committees): Advisory Committee on Earthquake Hazards Reduction; Board of Overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award; Industrial Advisory Committee; Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board; Internet of Things Advisory Board; Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award; Manufacturing Extension Partnership Advisory Board; National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee; National Construction Safety Team Advisory Committee; National Technical Information Service Advisory Board; and Visiting Committee on Advanced Technology. NIST and NTIS will consider nominations received in response to this notice for appointment to the Committees, in addition to nominations already received. Registered Federal lobbyists may not serve on NIST or NTIS Federal Advisory Committees in an individual capacity.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requests comments on four draft documents responsive to NIST assignment under Executive Order 14110 on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) issued on October 30, 2023 (E.O. 14110): NIST AI 600-1, Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework: Generative Artificial Intelligence Profile; NIST SP 800-218A, Secure Software Development Practices for Generative AI and Dual-Use Foundation Models; NIST AI 100-5, A Plan for Global Engagement on AI Standards; and NIST AI 100-4, Reducing Risks Posed by Synthetic Content: An Overview of Technical Approaches to Digital Content Transparency.
