Request for Information Regarding Online Platforms To Promote Federal Science and Technology Facilities, Products, and Services
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and other member laboratories of the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) offer a variety of specialized scientific and technical facilities, products, and services to the public, including access to instrumentation, reference materials, software, and calibrations. Access to such services is provided in a variety of ways, and may require the payment of fees or other costs and/or an application or agreement. NIST and other members of the FLC request information from the public regarding recommendations for online platforms that can broaden awareness and make it easier for the public to search for, locate, learn about, and obtain access to these facilities, products, and services. The information received in response to this RFI will be provided by NIST to various interagency groups for consideration and used to publicize various federal facilities and resources.
Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
The Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Judges Panel) will meet in on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and review the role and responsibilities of the Judges Panel and information received from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in order to ensure the integrity of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Award) selection process. The agenda will include: Judges Panel roles and processes; Baldrige Program updates; new business/public comment; lessons learned from the 2014 judging process; and the 2015 Award process. A portion of this meeting is closed to the public in order to protect the proprietary data to be examined and discussed.
Board of Overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
The Board of Overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Board of Overseers) and the Judges Panel of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Judges Panel) will meet together in open session on Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern time. The Board of Overseers, appointed by the Secretary of Commerce, reports the results of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (Award) activities to the Director of The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) each year, along with its recommendations for the improvement of the Award process. The Judges Panel, also appointed by the Secretary of Commerce, ensures the integrity of the Award selection process and recommends Award recipients to the Secretary of Commerce. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and review information received from the National Institute of Standards and Technology and from the Chair of the Judges Panel. The agenda will include: Baldrige Program Update, Baldrige Fundraising Update, Baldrige Judges Panel Update, Ethics Review, Applicants and Eligibility, and New Business/Public Comment.
National Construction Safety Team Advisory Committee Meeting
The National Construction Safety Team (NCST) Advisory Committee (Committee), will hold a meeting via teleconference on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the NCST Advisory Committee's draft annual report to Congress. A copy of the draft report will be posted prior to the meeting on the NCST Advisory Committee's Web site at https://www.nist.gov/el/disasterstudies/ncst/index.cfm. Interested members of the public will be able to participate in the meeting from remote locations by calling into a central phone number.
Open Meeting of the Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board
The Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board (ISPAB) will meet Wednesday, June 10, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, June 11 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and Friday, June 12, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All sessions will be open to the public.
Advisory Committee on Earthquake Hazards Reduction Meeting
The Advisory Committee on Earthquake Hazards Reduction (ACEHR or Committee), will hold an open meeting via webinar on Friday, June 12, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The primary purpose of this meeting is to finalize the Committee's 2015 Report on the Effectiveness of the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP). The agenda may change to accommodate Committee business. The final agenda and any draft meeting materials will be posted prior to the meeting on the NEHRP Web site at https://nehrp.gov/. Proposed Information Collection; Comment Request; Student Information System (SIS)

Manufacturing Extension Partnership State Competitions and Regional Forums
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) announces that the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program (MEP) intends to publish and post two (2) separate announcements of funding availability for MEP Centers in calendar year 2016. The list of specific states that will be involved in the competitions will be posted on the NIST MEP Web site at: https://www.nist.gov/mep/. The funding announcements will be provided both in the Federal Register and on Grants.gov. Prior to or in conjunction with each publication, MEP will conduct approximately two to three Regional Forums.
Prospective Grant of Exclusive Patent License
This is a notice in accordance with 35 U.S.C. 209(e) and 37 CFR 404.7(a)(1)(i) that the National Institute of Standards and Technology (``NIST''), U.S. Department of Commerce, is contemplating the grant of an exclusive license in the United States of America, its territories, possessions and commonwealths, to NIST's interest in the invention embodied in U.S. Patent No. 8,918,884, entitled ``K-zero day safety,'' (NIST Docket No. 12-017) to the George Mason Research Foundation, Inc. The grant of the license would be for all fields of use.
