By this Notice, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), Department of Commerce, is informing the public that it is conducting the mandatory survey titled Quarterly Survey of Foreign Direct Investment in the United StatesTransactions of U.S. Affiliate with Foreign Parent (BE-605). The data collected on the BE-605 survey are needed to measure the size and economic significance of foreign direct investment in the United States and its impact on the U.S. economy. This survey is authorized by the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act.

By this Notice, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), Department of Commerce, is informing the public that it is conducting the mandatory survey titled Quarterly Survey of Financial Services Transactions between U.S. Financial Services Providers and Foreign Persons (BE-185). The data collected on the BE-185 survey are needed to measure U.S. trade in financial services and to analyze the impact of U.S. trade on the U.S. and foreign economies. This survey is authorized by the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act and by Section 5408 of the Omnibus Trade and Competitiveness Act of 1988.

By this Notice, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), Department of Commerce, is informing the public that it is conducting the mandatory survey titled Quarterly Survey of Insurance Transactions by U.S. Insurance Companies with Foreign Persons (BE-45). The data collected on the BE-45 survey are needed to measure U.S. trade in insurance services and to analyze the impact of U.S. trade on the U.S. and foreign economies. This survey is authorized by the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act.

By this Notice, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), Department of Commerce, is informing the public that it is conducting the mandatory survey titled Quarterly Survey of Ocean Freight Revenues and Foreign Expenses of U.S. Carriers (BE-30). The data collected on the BE-30 survey are needed to measure U.S. trade in transport services and to analyze the impact of U.S. trade on the U.S. and foreign economies. This survey is authorized by the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act.

By this Notice, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), Department of Commerce, is informing the public that it is conducting the mandatory survey titled Annual Survey of Foreign Direct Investment in the United States (BE-15). The data collected on the BE-15 survey are needed to measure the size and economic significance of foreign direct investment in the United States and its impact on the U.S. economy. This survey is authorized by the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act.

As a result of determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) that revocation of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on sodium nitrite from the People's Republic of China (China) would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies, and material injury to an industry in the United States, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of this CVD order.

In accordance with the memorandum of January 20, 2025, from President Donald J. Trump, entitled "Regulatory Freeze Pending Review," published in the Federal Register on January 28, 2025, this action delays the effective date of the final rule NMFS published in the Federal Register on December 13, 2024, regarding the finalization of the 2025 Atlantic deep-sea red crab fishery specifications.

As a result of determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on laminated woven sacks (woven sacks) from the People's Republic of China (China) would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and countervailable subsidies, and material injury to an industry in the United States, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of these AD and CVD orders.

As a result of this expedited sunset review, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) order on alloy and certain carbon steel threaded rod from the People's Republic of China (China) would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at the levels indicated in the "Final Results of Sunset Review" section of this notice.

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) and the NMFS Northwest Fisheries Science Center will convene a virtual pre- assessment workshop to review proposed data and modeling approaches to inform groundfish stock assessments for rougheye/blackspotted rockfish and sablefish scheduled for assessment during 2025. The workshop is open to the public.

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a one day in-person meeting of its Reef Fish Advisory Panel (AP).

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) determines that TRAPA Forest Products Ltd. (TRAPA) is the successor-in-interest (SII) to Trans- Pacific Trading Ltd. (Trans-Pacific) in the context of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain softwood lumber products (softwood lumber) from Canada.

The MAFMC will hold a public webinar meeting of its Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass Advisory Panel and Bluefish Advisory Panel. The Western Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold its 155th Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC), Hawaii Archipelago and Pacific Remote Island Areas (PRIA) Fishery Ecosystem Plan (FEP) Advisory Panel (AP), and American Samoa Archipelago FEP AP to discuss and make recommendations on fishery management issues in the Western Pacific Region.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) determines that prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) from Malaysia was sold in the United States at less than normal value during the period of review (POR), June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023.

As a result of the determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) order on persulfates from the People's Republic of China (China) would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping, and material injury to an industry in the United States, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of this AD order.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) has received requests to conduct administrative reviews of various antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with January anniversary dates. In accordance with Commerce's regulations, we are initiating those administrative reviews.
