This notice sets forth the schedule and proposed agenda of a forthcoming meeting of the NSGAB. The New England Fishery Management Council (Council) is scheduling a public meeting of its Groundfish Committee to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Recommendations from this group will be brought to the full Council for formal consideration and action, if appropriate.

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold eight public hearings and webinar to solicit public comments on Draft Amendment 9Coral Habitat Areas Considered for Management in the Gulf of Mexico.

NMFS has received a request from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) for authorization to take marine mammals incidental to a low-energy marine geophysical survey in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), NMFS is requesting comments on its proposal to issue an incidental harassment authorization (IHA) to incidentally take marine mammals during the specified activities. NMFS will consider public comments prior to making any final decision on the issuance of the requested MMPA authorization and agency responses will be summarized in the final notice of our decision.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) invites organizations to provide products and technical expertise to support and demonstrate security platforms for two data integrity projects within the Data Integrity Building Block. The two projects are (1) Data Integrity: Identifying and Protecting Assets Against Ransomware and Other Destructive Events and (2) Data Integrity: Detecting and Responding to Ransomware and Other Destructive Events. This notice is the initial step for the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) in collaborating with technology companies to address cybersecurity challenges identified under the Data Integrity Building Block. Participation in the building block is open to all interested organizations and organizations may participate in one or both data integrity projects.
