In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on proposed information collections. This is a revision of currently approved information collection requirements associated with initiating collection actions against households who have received an overissuance in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Agency Information Collection Activities: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Emergency Allotments (COVID-19)
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act of 2020, enacted March 18, 2020, includes a general provision that allows the Department of Agriculture to issue emergency allotments (EA) based on a public health emergency declaration by the Secretary of Health and Human Services under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act related to an outbreak of COVID-19 when a State has also issued an emergency or disaster declaration. This is a new collection for activities associated with administering emergency allotments.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program: 2008 Farm Bill Provisions on Clarification of Split Issuance; Accrual of Benefits and Definition Changes
This final rule amends the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) regulations to implement provisions of the 2008 Farm Bill regarding monthly benefit issuance allotments, storage of benefits off-line, and permanent expungement of unused benefits, as well as related benefit expungement and off-line storage provisions of the 2018 Farm Bill. This final rule also updates SNAP regulations to reflect the program's name change to SNAP and benefit issuance through Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) systems.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. This NEW information collection will provide USDA with information on Child Support Cooperation Requirements in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Agency Information Collection Activities: Recordkeeping for Employment and Training Program Activity Report and Requests for Additional 100 Percent Funding
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection for the extension, without change, of a currently approved collection for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment and Training (E&T) Program Activity Report (form FNS-583) and State requests for additional funding only. Requests and recordkeeping for these activities are currently approved under OMB No. 0584-0339, expiration date 01/31/2021. The burden hours and total annual responses remains unchanged. FNS is not seeking public comments on the reporting burden for the FNS-583 because that is under FNS' web-based Food Program Reporting System, OMB Control No: 0584-0594, expiration date 07/31/ 2023.
