Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to 19 CFR 151.12, R. Markey & Sons, Inc., 5 Hanover Square, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10004, has been accredited to analyze sugar, sugar syrups and confectionery products under Chapter 17 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) for customs purposes, in accordance with the provisions of 19 CFR 151.12. Specifically, R. Markey & Sons has been granted accreditation to perform the following test methods only: (1) Polarization of Raw Sugar, ICUMSA GS 1/2/3-1; (2) The Determination of the Polarization of Raw Sugar Without Wet Lead Clarification, ICUMSA GS 1/2/3-2; (3) Sugar Moisture by Loss of Drying, ICUMSA GS 2/1/3-15; (4) Polarization of White Sugar, ICUMSA GS 2/3-1. Anyone wishing to employ this entity to conduct laboratory analyses should request and receive written assurances from the entity that it is accredited by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to conduct the specific test requested. Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to 19 CFR 151.12 and 19 CFR 151.13, SGS North America, Inc., 1084 West Lathrop Ave., Savannah, GA 31402, has been approved to gauge and accredited to test petroleum and petroleum products for customs purposes, in accordance with the provisions of 19 CFR 151.12 and 19 CFR 151.13. Anyone wishing to employ this entity to conduct laboratory analyses and gauger services should request and receive written assurances from the entity that it is accredited or approved by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to conduct the specific test or gauger service requested. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) of the Department of Homeland Security has submitted the following information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act: Holders or Containers which Enter the United States Duty Free. This is a proposed extension of an information collection that was previously approved. CBP is proposing that this information collection be extended with no change to the burden hours. This document is published to obtain comments from the public and affected agencies. This proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register (74 FR 51297) on October 6, 2009, allowing for a 60-day comment period. This notice allows for an additional 30 days for public comments. This process is conducted in accordance with 5 CFR 1320.10.
