Market Risk Advisory Committee
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announces that on April 26, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Market Risk Advisory Committee (MRAC) will hold a public meeting at the CFTC's Washington, DC, headquarters. The MRAC will describe and discuss how well the derivatives markets are currently functioning, including the impact and implications of the evolving structure of these markets on the movement of risk across market participants. Specific topics to be covered are listed in this Notice.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Notice of Intent To Renew Collection 3038-0012, Futures Volume, Open Interest, Price, Deliveries and Purchases/Sales of Futures for Commodities or for Derivatives Positions
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (``CFTC'' or ``Commission'') is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA''), Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed extension of an existing collection of information, and to allow 60 days for public comment. This notice solicits comments on futures volume, open interest, price, deliveries, and purchases/sales of futures for commodities or for derivatives positions.
Comparability Determination for the European Union: Dually-Registered Derivatives Clearing Organizations and Central Counterparties
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the ``Commission'' or ``CFTC'') has determined that certain laws and regulations applicable in the European Union (``EU'') provide a sufficient basis for an affirmative finding of comparability with respect to certain regulatory obligations applicable to derivatives clearing organizations (``DCOs'') that are registered with the Commission and are authorized to operate as central counterparties (``CCPs'') in the EU. The Commission's determination provides for substituted compliance with respect to requirements for financial resources, risk management, settlement procedures, and default rules and procedures.
Trade Options
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the ``Commission'' or the ``CFTC'') is issuing a final rule to amend the limited trade options exemption in the Commission's regulations, as described herein, with respect to the following subject areas: Reporting requirements for trade option counterparties that are not swap dealers or major swap participants; recordkeeping requirements for trade option counterparties that are not swap dealers or major swap participants; and certain non-substantive amendments.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (``Commission'') is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA''), Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed extension of an existing collection of information, and to allow 60 days for public comment. This notice solicits comments on reporting requirements relating to Commission regulation 50.52 (Exemption for swaps between affiliates).
Agency Information Collection Activities: Notice of Intent To Renew Collection 3038-0107, Generic Clearance for the Collection of Qualitative Feedback on Agency Service Delivery
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (``Commission'' or ``CFTC'') is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the renewal of collection of certain information by the Commission's Office of Consumer Outreach (``OCO''). Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA''), Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed or renewal of a collection of information and to allow 60 days for public comment. The Commission is soliciting comments for the renewal of its generic information collection that will help the CFTC satisfy responsibilities under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (``Dodd-Frank Act''), found in Section 748 of the Dodd-Frank Act. The generic information collection will provide the OCO a means to gather qualitative consumer and stakeholder feedback in an efficient, timely manner to facilitate service delivery.
