The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (State) has filed a petition for classification and application to obtain public land and mineral estate in lieu of lands to which the State was entitled but did not receive under its Statehood Act. This classification, made under Section 7 of the Taylor Grazing Act of June 8, 1934, satisfies in full the obligation to the State. This notice also terminates the classification of lands included in the State's application that are not needed to fulfill the obligation.

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Humboldt River Field Office, Winnemucca, Nevada has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to analyze the potential impacts of approving the proposed expansion to the Relief Canyon gold mining operation in Pershing County, Nevada. This notice announces the beginning of the public comment period to solicit public comments on the Draft EIS.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the Record of Decision (ROD) for the management of Greater Sage- Grouse habitat in Utah. The BLM has determined that its decade-long planning and NEPA processes have sufficiently addressed Greater Sage- Grouse habitat conservation and no new land use planning process to consider additional alternatives or new information is warranted. This determination is not a new planning decision. Instead, it is a determination not to amend the applicable land use plans. Thus, it is not subject to appeal or protest. The BLM's decision remains as identified in the 2019 Approved Resource Management Plan Amendment for Greater Sage-Grouse conservation in Utah.
