The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for conveyance under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended, 211.73 acres of public land in Cibola County, New Mexico. Cibola County proposes to use the land to develop a public shooting range complex.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management's (BLM), Southeast Oregon Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet as indicated below.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pocatello Field Office, Pocatello, Idaho, intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to analyze the potential impacts of approving the proposed Caldwell Canyon mine and reclamation plan (MRP). The EIS will also consider the effects of lease modifications that are part of the proposed project. This notice announces the beginning of the scoping process to solicit public comments and identify issues to be addressed in the EIS.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is scheduled to file plats of survey 30 calendar days from the date of this publication in the BLM Wyoming State Office, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The surveys, which were executed at the request of the U.S. Forest Service and the BLM, are necessary for the management of these lands. The lands surveyed are: The plat and field notes representing the dependent resurvey of a portion of the north boundary and portions of the subdivisional lines, and the survey of the subdivision of section 3, Township 27 North, Range 71 West, Sixth Principal Meridian, Wyoming, Group No. 943, were accepted on December 13, 2016. The plat and field notes representing the dependent resurvey of a portion of the 1963-65 adjusted original meanders of the left bank of the Snake River, Township 41 North, Range 117 West, Sixth Principal Meridian, Wyoming, Group No. 946, were accepted on January 13, 2017.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, and the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the Steens Mountain Advisory Council (SMAC) will host a meeting.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Mount Lewis Field Office, Battle Mountain, Nevada, has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Gold Bar Mine Project and by this notice is announcing the beginning of the public comment period to solicit public comments on the Draft EIS.
